Dearest Namuni,

I know I am not suppose to call by this name at least here, but can’t help it. I am just used to it. I love you with this name. OK let’s start.

Even before I first met you, I was already hunting for you. You remember na.. What was my first reaction before I said hi! to you. Lol.. Crazy days..  I was looking forward for a great junior in you but you turned out to be my today’s best pal. We have been crazy friends since then.

You have been special to me. Right from the time you were just a junior to the time you became my favourite person on this earth. I truly consider you as one of most special people in my life.

I believe that all relations are built in heaven, except one and that’s friendship. Meeting you was in my destiny but keeping you in my life forever is my decision. You have been an ultimate support for my emotional break downs, we actually handle each other the best (that’s why I give that idea of… oh let it be I’ll remind you offline). ;) You are a mean criticizer, but it helps me improve and I love it when you do so. You are a perfect guide, who helps me get out of any confused situation. I love it the way you present the pros and cons of my situations and decisions.

We have no limit for the love and care that is shared between us. You always kept asking me why do I consider you as a special friend of mine and as per you I have never answered it. Well, I don’t really have any specific reason for this question. All I know is you are a valuable gift to me from sai baba. You came in my life when I badly needed someone to support me, understand me, talk to me and be a great friend to me. I will preserve our friendship for lifetime.

Our journey of this relation has given me many memorable moments spent with you and I hope to make more. Today, though we stay apart and don’t get much time to spend, I know that you are always there for me anytime anywhere and our friendship will keep growing stronger and stronger.

I like spending time with you.

I am not hesitant to talk to you about anything on this earth.

You keep me in a comfort zone.

I don’t have to pretend in front of you for any reason.

I can share anything with you.

In short I am very lucky to have an awesome best friend like you. Always be with me..

Happy Friendship's Day Appu..

Hey Appu (Apurva Nadgouda),

It’s exactly eleven and half years that I recognize you as Ms. Apurva Nadgouda. In this decade I got to know you very lately. We got close friends even later. And the recent breaking news is today we are BEST FRIENDS. :)

We first met each other in our school; I hardly knew that you existed. We might have come across every day but never really cared to talk. Back then who knew that today we would be best friends, at least I never thought about this. Did you???

Our next meeting was directly in graduation. To be frank I was not much happy to see you there, but I had no power to change it. Lol… Days passed by and I started knowing you. I was understanding you better then. But still it took me two years to really start liking you.. (isn’t that too long???). Final year was the time we really got close to each other and did crazy things. I hope you remember it all, the pranks, the crushes, our outings, night outs, celebrations and every little thing that we did. You have given me best memories of my college life.

We moved together in the next phase of our life. We joined Infosys, very important decision of our lives. Mysore got us more closely and made us crazier.  We had entered a new world; we let in many new people in our life, but that didn’t change our relation, our friendship was on top.  They also have been a special part of my life. You have been supporting me every time in all the conditions whether I needed you or not you have always been there for me. I will never forget the support you showed, when infy chudel played that dirty game with me… you were awesome.. ;) I have liked you the way you are and have known you the best till now. We are around 380 kms far from each other but that doesn’t really change the specialness of you.

Today I know you so well that I understand you without you saying a word and so do you. You have always stood by me when nothing’s going right around me. I hope I have supported you the same way. I know in recent days I haven’t been giving you much time, but please remember one thing I am always there for you.

You always give all ears to my problems, confusions, confessions and crazy talks when I am really pissed off. Especially when it’s a guy cause of whom I am going mad. And you are there with me till everything is sorted and my life’s back on normal track (which very rarely is in continuous status).

It’s always exciting hearing from you. We have hell lot to talk and never ever get bored of each other. We gonna never stop doing those crazy things (our chindigiris).

Many friends have come in my life and very few have stayed for a longer period and till now. You are one I am sure would stay with me till I really get bored of you. Lol. Kidding!!! Don’t worry we will go on a long trip with our husbands and kids..

After all these year today I actually wanna thank you for everything you have been doing for me and will be doing in the future (don’t expect a thank you from me all time ;) ).

Thank you for all the smiles you have got on my face.

People say every day can be a friendship day so why to celebrate specially in august. But I believe in dedicating one day of the year only to friends and celebrate the special relation that we share with each other.
